How did you first get into music?

The first band that really got me into music was The Beatles. I think I listened to a couple albums when I was about 10 or 11 and was mind blown. Other artists that have influenced me over the years include Jimi Hendrix, Tame Impala, Bakar and Mac miller. Although I’ve always played the guitar throughout my childhood, I didn’t actually start writing and recording my own music till Covid-19. Had all that spare time, so I got Logic Pro and and ever since then been obsessed!

What interests or hobbies do you have outside of music?

Love to skate. Need some better weather in London though, been so rainy this summer.

What is your creative process when making music?

Prefer to work alone most of the time, just feel it's easier to try out new ideas and I can make all the decisions about where a song is going haha. Yet this has pros and cons as you can go round in circles figuring out whether a song is over crowded or too empty. Usually start with drums or guitar and then work around the base idea.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Hopefully doing everything that I’m doing now, but I’m a a lot better! Also playing some major festivals!

Will you be delving into other genres in the future?

Definitely! I think whenever creating a new EP or album I want to be able to recreate myself and find new sounds. Really want to make a jazz/blues album at some point!

What are your plans in the coming months?

Releasing my debut EP ‘Phasing’ which will be out August 31st! and will be playing my first headline show late September.
