FLOWT

How did you first get into music?

I started really liking music as a young child. I would be in the car with my family and each person liked to listen to something different; my mom from Joan Jett to Shania Twain, my grandparents from Don Williams to Dolly Parton, my brothers all liked something different too- rap, rock, metal, country, and my sister from RnB to Pop and top charts! I was well rounded in my taste from early on. As for how I started singing and writing, I always knew I wanted to 'be a singer' but I didn't understand how to get to that point until I became a young woman and realized I could chase whatever dreams I wanted. My very first song was released in 2020.

Greatest Strength/Greatest Weakness?

When I make music and write lyrics, I like to start by having a clean space. I like to have tea or decaf coffee, and I just sit and listen to beats until words or story's play through my mind and into a song. The process is never the same, but the focus is to keep your mind open- anything is possible.

What interests or hobbies do you have outside of music?

Outside of singing and song writing, I've found hobbies in graphic design from creating my own logo, cover art, and banners!

I also love to hike, play sports, and learn new things from YouTube and audiobooks.

What is your main inspiration?

What inspires me the most is nature, the flora and fauna, the sunlight, the smell of the fresh air and the orgasm it gives my senses while I'm outside. Plants especially make my mind curious but calm.

What is your proudest achievement so far as an artist?

Placing in top 50 out of thousands of artists in North America in the World Scout Next Up Competition in 2020!

Who have you been able to work with so far?

I've been able to work with Loxxton, December Moon, Perpendickular, Jasmine Dean, Leo Dynasty, Bobby Everything, Shordeli, Kris Strangland, and I may be missing some, but these are the main ones.

What are your plans in the coming months?

In the coming months I hope to release many singles, film a few music videos, and enter in the Next Up Competition again!

Do you have any artistic collaboration plans?

I hope to collab with a girl group, particularly Bella Dose

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In 5 years, I see myself touring, with my own up-cycled clothing line, and releasing a full album! I will enjoy every step until I get there too!

Will you be delving into other genres in the future?

I'm a genre hopping rebel! I make music mostly for myself, all my fans were a bonus! Expect some country soon because it's only appropriate given where I was raised!
